This has been a difficult decision for us but the time has come for Pat to start to cut back on her working hours and Jodi does not have any additional time to cover for the reduction in Pat's working schedule. Bergh & DeVries was formed on January 1, 2006 with the idea of providing quality accounting services to Pat's clients. The first few years Jodi worked full time in tax season and part time during the off season. The idea was that we would transition to Jodi working full time and Pat would transition to semi retirement. This partnership was so successful that it is impossible for Pat to reduce her hours. The transfer of the practice to Gage Accounting PC will allow Pat to cut back on her hours and Jodi will be able to continue to provide services to our clients on a full time basis.

We are very pleased that the Gages came forward to take over the practice. We truly believe that they will carry on the relationships we have established with the same level of quality you have come to expect. The Gages bring many years of experience working in both the private and public sector. Scott has been established in private practice in Cut Bank for over 30 years and has relatives in the area. Ryan has degrees from the University of Utah and Notre Dame and has worked for one of the largest accounting firms in the world. Ryan has currently been managing the Polson office. As we have met to work through the transition process, we both have been struck by the similarities in the structure and approach of our practices. Jodi and Pat are confident that the Gages will bring a high level of service to you.

We will continue to be at our present location. Jodi, Pat, Theresa, Julie and Mandy will be working with Gage Accounting PC to insure a smooth transition for you. We expect the phone numbers to stay the same.
